Terms of Service

Plain English, and short. These terms cover your firm's use of Mehak Learning. By using the service you agree to them.

Last updated 7 August 2026

01What the service is

Mehak Learning observes how your team actually works — through short daily check-ins and the work samples they choose to upload — and builds training courses from what it finds. It produces skill reports for the firm owner and individual courses for each employee.

It is a training tool. It is not a monitoring product: there is no screen recording, no keystroke logging, and no tracking of where anyone is or how long they sit at a desk. See Acceptable Use for what the data may and may not be used for.

02Accounts and access

Workspaces are set up by us after a pricing call — there is no public sign-up. Your firm owner receives the first account and invites the rest of the team. You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for the actions taken by accounts at your firm.

Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised, and we will help you close it.

03Pricing and billing

You pay a per-employee monthly rate, agreed with you before your workspace is created, × the number of seats on your plan. Billing is monthly or annual, whichever you chose. Payment is handled by Stripe; card details never reach our servers.

Firms in the founding cohort receive 15% off their agreed rate for their first 12 months, applied as a discount line on each invoice rather than a changed rate.

Seat changes take effect on the subscription immediately and are prorated. If you asked for a free trial, it runs 14 days before the first charge; add a payment method before it ends and nothing is interrupted.

0430-day money-back guarantee

If Mehak Learning isn't right for your firm, email us within 30 days of your first charge and we will refund it in full. No conditions attached to that, and no need to explain yourself — though we'd genuinely like to hear why.

05Cancellation and non-payment

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling keeps your access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

If a payment fails, or a free trial ends with no payment method on file, your workspace is paused rather than deleted: nobody can sign in to it, but your data stays intact and access is restored as soon as billing is sorted out. We will tell you what happened and how to fix it.

We may also suspend an account for a serious breach of Acceptable Use. Where we reasonably can, we will contact you first.

06Your data stays yours

Your firm owns its data. You can export all of it at any time from your settings page, and you can ask us to delete it permanently — you will get a dated receipt saying exactly what was removed. Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing terms.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train public AI models.

07What we don't promise

No guarantee of specific business outcomes. The skill reports and courses are generated by an AI model from what your team writes. They are a training aid, not professional advice, and not a prediction. We do not promise any particular improvement in revenue, billable hours, error rates, retention, or any other business measure.

AI output can be wrong. Read it with the same judgement you would apply to any draft from a junior colleague. Do not rely on it for legal, tax, medical, or other professional decisions.

We aim to keep the service available and working, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime level at this stage. If something is broken, tell us and we will fix it.

08Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to your firm for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — for example for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

09Changes, and how to reach us

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will email the firm owner before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means the new terms apply.

Mehak Learning is based in Albany, New York, United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Questions go to aqeek@mehaklearning.com.
